How the Engine Works

Muhurta approaches timing as an inverse search problem. This is a highly distinctive feature of the SAGE architecture.

Instead of starting from a moment in time and asking what it means, the engine searches the complete 65,536-combination space of four-Mother Ramal configurations to find structures suited to the type of action being considered.

The system indexes resulting charts against defined target outcomes based on the event mapping (e.g., maximizing the 10th or 15th house conditions). Structural filters eliminate unsuitable candidates, leaving a geomantically favorable configuration for the selected action.

The deterministic engine performs the search and filtering. AI does not select the candidate; it interprets and synthesizes the resulting symbolic structure.

Why This Tradition?

This module uses the Indian Ramal tradition. It relies entirely on the distinct canonical framework and calculation rules of Ramal geomancy, rather than Western methods.

SAGE maintains strict separation between traditions. Similar decision architectures across different modules do not mean identical doctrine.

The Muhurta output provides practical, structured guidance derived from the selected configuration. Results may include:

The Calculation vs. AI

The calculation comes first. The AI explains the result.

The engine searches the symbolic state space and selects a chart according to deterministic Ramal rules and filters. AI does not generate or calculate the chart; rather, the AI synthesizes those computed symbolic results into readable, structured guidance for the user.
